2009Lucid Lighting began with the custom design and fabrication of
lights by designer/craftsman Rob Wallace for architectural
projects in New York City.
Working at first with NYC Architect Lesie Gill, Luicid Lighting
was founded in 1986 to offer an ever expanding line of fixtures.
A favorite of many architects and designers and hand crafted
in our own facility in the New Jersey, these fixtures are easily
customized to the requirements of every job and every customer.
Lucid Lighting operates in more of a traditional approach to
manufacture in which the client and designer / craftsman / owner
is involved in every order from begining to end.
Our lights could be termed "transitional"- traditional in approach,
modern, simple and straight forward in execution. We like think of
this as our own contribution to the evolution of lighting design.
Also what is important to us is that you get the quality of lighting
you need. The correct fixture and bulb type can be discussed
with us.
Free of the constraints of mass production and global business
imperatives, the focus at Lucid can be instead on quality of design
and fabrication.
